Keeping your dog healthy is an essential part of avoiding any prolonged infections or ailments which can lead to unavoidable circumstances. Different breeds like huskies, labrador, rottweiler or aussiee doodles have different requirements but some basic grooming tips can be easily used for all the breeds to keep them healthy and clean. Aussie doodle is one of the smartest hybrids while rottweiler can be really aggressive ones sometimes.
- Brushing
Whether it’s brushing their hair or teeth, it’s important that you maintain a proper kit and keep changing the tools so that the situation does not go out of control. Initially, they can show a little bit resistance and hence having a dog trainer around will be a good option in case situation goes out of hand. While brushing their teeth, brush the tongue as well as nobody likes a bad mouth smell even in dogs.
- Trimming
Trim the hairs of your dog properly so that they are not everywhere including your living room or dining table. Keep them away from the bed and get a trimming kit so that that you are always prepared once the hairs starting growing bigger again. Similarly, trimming their nails is also very important so that you don’t end up getting injured everytime they jump over you.
- Bathing
Bathing dogs is just like bathing kids. It can be a fun process if the dog does not have any water problem which is usually the case but sometimes due to some weather changes, bathing can be a little challenging process and hence getting them their own inflatable tub is a good option to keep the mess limited to a particular area.
- Paws
Keep their paws cleaned. The dust particles after a walk can be irritating for the dog as well as bring inside dirt at your place. You can clean it regularly using a napkin soaked in water. This helps in not confining them within a particular area in the home and let them wander around freely.
- Health checkups
Dogs have to go through proper vaccinations like kids and make sure you do not miss any of those. For a healthy living, visit the vet regularly. If you notice even a small sign of rash or infection consult with a vet as it can spread quickly in the dogs and situation can go out of control.
